Data Project Page

Here's a quickie intro to how to play with weebly pages, based on my proficiency level. You can get weebly support from the Help button and they probably have some tutorials available for getting started, I'm just not sure where those are at this moment.
Once you've logged into weebly you'll see the Dashboard. Click on the Edit Site button in the upper right corner to get to the page editor. You can add elements to this page by clicking and dragging them into the space below, from the toolbar on the leftside. If you don't see the toolbar, click on the Build tab on the navigation bar on this page. When you grab an element and drag it into this area, you'll see a blue line show up indicating where this element is going to land on the page; it will be horizontal or vertical indicating it will go above, below or next to whatever is already on the page. Once you've added elements to the page, you have to click on Publish in the upper right corner of the page to save your changes. Then you can use this link https://www.empowerment4girls.com/data-project.html to get to the live page on the website to enter data into any forms you've added. We've mainly used Contact Forms for building our program intakes. There are also newsletter, survey, and rsvp forms. When you drag a form over and drop it on the page, the form will appear with a blue box around it. This works with all elements, not just forms: -Moving your cursor over the middle of the top of the blue box will show a rectangle of dots. You can click on this to the move the form to a different spot on the page. -Moving your cursor over the upper left of the top of the blue box will show an arrow, which allows you to copy or move the form - this can be moved to another spot on this page, or to another page. -Moving your cursor into the form and clicking will bring up three tabs on the top of the box: View Entries, Form Options and Save. -Moving your cursor to the upper right side of the box, you see an option to delete the form. If you want to export data from any forms - including any you add - you will need to exit from here by clicking on the X in the upper left corner. That will take you to the dashboard. From the dashboard choose Website, then Edit Site from the menu on the left side. The next screen will give you a button for Form Entries, below the image in the middle of the screen. From there you'll see a drop down list of forms by name. Scroll to your form and select it, then click Export All in the upper right of that screen and follow the prompts from there. |
